Mark Allen Matson of Davison Township, age 68 died Sunday July 21, 2024 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held. Those desiring may make contributions in Mark's memory to the Genesee County Humane Society.

Mark was born in Flint Michigan on February 13, 1956 the son of the late: Robert W. and Margaret N. (Walhers) Matson and has resided in the Davison area for many years. Mark enjoyed the outdoors and spent numerous hours on his Harley Davidson on the open roads. He was a member of Davison Missionary Church. Mark had been employed by General Motors Fisher Body Division. He later worked for Culligan Water and most recently was employed by Advance Disposal.

He leaves his son, Mathew A. and wife Jamie Matson, and their children, Timothy, Logan, Markus, and Amelia. He also leaves his daughter, Latrisha M. Matson, and her children, Sabastian Matson, Trevor Burth, and Charles Jack Burth. Surviving sister Connie Matson, nephew John Church and nieces; Heather Church, Catrinea Church and Tina Matson, and a host of extended family and friends.
