Marjorie J. Shearer of Davison age 87 passed away Thursday May 16, 2013 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Monday May 20, 2013 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Rev. Greg Rowan officiating with burial at Crestwood Memorial Garden. Family will receive from 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday May 19, 2013 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hospice or to Judson Baptist Church Memorial Fund. Marjorie was born in Cheboygan, Michigan on November 24, 1925 the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Sheets) Englebretson and resided in the Davison area over 60 years. She was joined in married to Trenton Shearer on April 10, 1944 and he preceded her in death December 17, 1994. Marjorie was member of Judson Baptist Church. She was employed by State of Michigan retiring from Oakdale Center 1982. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters: Nancy R. Beals, Sharon S. Bracey, and Beverly Arnesen; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by son Trenton Jr. in 2001.
