Marilyn Roberta Woods of Flint, age 62, died Thursday April 21, 2016 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday May 14, 2016 at Grace Community Christian Church 3707 Davison Rd. Flint. Those desiring may make contributions in Marilyn's memory to the Church Memorial Fund. Marilyn was born in Wellsboro Pennsylvania on January 12, 1954 the daughter of the late; Carlton & Maxine (Bingham) Stafford and has resided in the Flint area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Ronnie Woods on May 22, 1976 in Flint. Marilyn had spent numerous years working in the EMS field and also had been a dispatcher for Genesee Township Police until her retirement. She is survived by husband Ronnie, children; Adam (Rachael) Woods, Amanda (Steve) Janes, and Thomas Woods. She also leaves eight grandchildren.
