Marianne Catherine (Paton) Turner, of Davison, age 65, died peacefully in her home on Tuesday December 27, 2016. A Scripture and Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday January 2, 2017 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Fr. Bob C. Bacik officiating. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 am Monday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Marianne's memory to the charity of your choice. Marianne was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 5, 1951 the daughter of the late Donald A. and Leona M. (Schuster) Paton and spent her early years in Detroit. She was joined in marriage to David Turner on October 27, 1972 in Detroit, and they have lived in the Davison area since 1972. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison. Marianne spent many years nursing, caring for the mentally disabled, and taking care of family and friends. She leaves her husband of forty-four years David, her loving children: David C (Christy) Turner, Mary (Chris) Anderson, Michelle, Turner, and Elizabeth Turner. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren: Alex, Colin, Amanda, Cameron, Steven, and Luke. Marianne is also survived by her brothers; Donald "Greg" (Christine) Paton, Rick Paton, Mike Paton, sister Dottie Paton, and sister-in-laws, Jackie Paton and Denise Paton.
