Marianne E. Bedore of Davison age 86, died Sunday July 10, 2011 at Angel Manor Assisted Living. A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm Wednesday July 13, 2011 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating. Private burial in St. John Cemetery. Family will recieve visitors from 3:00 pm Wednesday until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions in Marianne's memory to Boy Scouts of America, Tall Pine Council. Marrianne was born in Settin Germany on January 22, 1925 the daughter of Max and Margarete (Breitsprecher) Schmidt and has resided in the Davison area since 1954. She was joined in marriage to Lenard Bedore on January 23, 1954 in Stuttgart, Germany and he preceded her in death August 1, 2000. Marianne was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, St. John Altar Society, and served as a Lay Minister for over thirty years, she also was a member of Davison VFW Aux. #4087. Marianne was involved in the Boy Scouts, Tall Pine Council for over thirty years, recieving the District Merit of Silver Beaver and St. George Awards, and was the recipient of the James E. West Fellow. She had been employed for the Davison Community Schools for over twenty-three years retiring in February 1987.
