Madonna Ann Wheeler of Davison, age 82, died Monday January 6, 2020 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday January 10, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 – 8 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Madonna's memory to the Suncrest Auxiliary or the Alzheimer Association.

Madonna was born in Flint Michigan on October 22, 1937 the daughter of the late: George & Blanche (Kujawa) Meek and had resided in the Grand Blanc area most of her life and Davison since 2012. She was joined in marriage to Gary Wheeler on February 9, 1957.

Surviving is her loving husband of over sixty-two years Gary, her children; Linda & Randall Shipman, Lori Wheeler, Leslie & Daniel Atherholt, Lisabeth Wheeler, Gary M. Wheeler, Leigh & James Waller, and Libby & Chris Cook. She also leaves her seventeen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, brother Michael Meek, sister Barbara Hatfield, and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her twin sons.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility (Suncrest) for their support and compassion to mom during this time.
