Louise Irene Humphries of Davison & Traverse City age 70 died Monday February 23, 2015 at Munson Medical Center, Traverse City. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday February 27, 2015 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison, Pastor Gene Smith officiating with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Louise's memory to the Alzheimer Foundation. Louise was born in Michigan on March 22, 1944 the daughter of the late Louis & Jane (Cassady) Chaltraw, having lived in Davison last fifteen years, spending most of her life in the Lapeer County area. She was a member of the Lapeer Fraternal Order of Eagles and Davison VFW Post #4087 Auxiliary. Louise was employed by Suncrest Nursing Facility in Lapeer for over twenty-five years retiring in 2005. Surviving are daughters Tracy and husband Scott Lindstrom, and Jodi Humphries and partner Andrea. Loving grandchildren Janie, William, Wyatt, and Abby.
