Lori Ann Frerich of Burton age 61, died Thursday May 26, 2022 at Hurley Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday May 29, 2022 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating, cremation will follow at Sunset Hills Crematory. Family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm Sunday until time of services.

Lori was born in Flint Michigan on March 20, 1961 the daughter of the late Jack and Leatha (Stewart) Wilcox and has resided in the area her entire life. Lori was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1979. She was joined in marriage to John Frerich on August 5, 1988. Lori enjoyed numerous types of arts and crafts including scrapbooking, crocheting, and quilting to name a few. She also loved spending time outdoors in her flower gardens, and always ready to go shopping.  Lori had been employed by Davison Community Schools in the Dietary Departments of both Central Elementary and the Middle School until her retirement.

She leaves to cherish her memory husband John, children: Tom Hamm. Samantha Shiel, and Amanda (Bryan) Barber. She also leaves her loving grandchildren, Kristina, Dalton, Logan, Katelyn, Mitchell, Gabriel, Jaimin, and Tatiana. Also surviving is brother Kenneth Wilcox, sister Terry Elliot, and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by brother Douglas Wilcox.
