Loretta Mae Kendrick of Davison, age 71, died Friday November 8, 2024 at Hurley Hospital, Flint. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday November 14 2024 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Dr. Paul Ytterock officiating: private burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.  Family will receive visitors from 2-5 pm Wednesday November 13, 2024 at Hansen Funeral Home and from 12:00 noon Thursday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Loretta's memory to the Great Lakes National Cemetery Advisory Council.

Loretta was born in Richlands Virginia on February 17, 1953 the daughter of the late Orastus & Gaynell (Christian) Lowe and has resided in the Davison area the last fifty years. She was joined in marriage to Daniel G. Kendrick on November 25, 1972 at First Presbyterian Church in Flint. Loretta had a passion for crafting whether it was quilting, sewing, or scrapbooking. She loved to work with her hands and spent numerous hours in her flowers and gardens. She also enjoyed her quiet time sitting on a beach and reading a good book or keeping up with family and friends on Facebook.  Loretta had been employed by Williams Gun Sight Company for over twenty-three until her retirement.

She leaves to cherish her memory husband Daniel "Dan" and children Bradley Kendrick, Timothy (Tamara) Kendrick, and Amanda (Charles) Rogers. She also leaves her loving thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Her surviving siblings: Diana Motes, Denise (Rick) Porter, her cherished and loved cats, Gus and Bob, and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by sister Lisa Aleksander, and brother Richard Lowe.
