Loren David Crandall of Flint, age 80, died Thursday January 28, 2021 at Ascension-Genesys Hospital. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Loren was born in Flint Michigan on October 20, 1940, the son of the late David and Lavonne (Simms) Crandall and has resided in the Flint area most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Virginia Lajewski on April 10, 1965. Answering the call of his country Loren proudly served in the Army Reserves. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He always enjoyed playing a game of golf and watching a good hockey game. Loren loved to work with his hands and especially his skills in wood working. He was a Guitar Instructor, and had been employed by General Motors until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife of over fifty five years Virginia, his sons; Richard (Charlotte), Michael (Christina), and David (Tracy). He also leaves his loving grandchildren; Emma, Jack, Ellie, Ryan, Noah, Olivia, Micah, Caden, Keagan, Brennan, and great grandchild Colton.
