Obituary

Lois  M. Manzardo of Davison age 90 died Monday August 14, 2017 at Briarwood Convalescent Center.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 16, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 N. Dayton St. Davison. Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating with burial at St. John Catholic Cemetery. Family will receive visitors Tuesday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Hansen Funeral Home. A parish rosary to be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Manzardo will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday. Those desiring may make contribution in Lois's memory to Ronald McDonald House. Lois was born in LeSueur , Minnesota on November 3, 1926 the daughter of the late Vernon and Hannah (Toulsey) Sadler. Lois resided in the Davison area since 1955. Lois was joined in marriage to John Manzardo on September 14, 1947 and he preceded her in death May 17, 2008. Mrs. Manzardo was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Lois was employed as a nurse's aid at St. Joseph Hospital and nurse for Dr. Frank T. White MD, and later taking a job as a caregiver for Holy Rosary Preschool. Lois was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Lois had a passion for shopping and going to the casino. Lois also enjoyed traveling and her lunches at Big Boy and Apollo in Davison. She is survived by children; Anthony "Tony" and wife Connie Manzardo, Rick and wife Paula Manzardo, Margaret Crim , and Mike and wife Tammy Manzardo; grandchildren: Stacey Manzardo-Kalisz, Danielle and husband Andy Osterholzer, Joe and wife Jen Manzardo, Amanda Crim, Michelle and husband Ralph Shamel, Gabe Manzardo, and Manny Manzardo; great grandchildren: Brooke Kalisz Nicole Kalisz, Grace Osterholzer, Rachel Osterholzer and Claire Osterholzer, Macie Manzardo, Maddie Manzardo, Mirabelle Manzardo, and Anthony Manzardo, Ella and Mia Shamel; sister-in-law: Nancy Sadler, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Frank and Clara Manzardo and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded death by grandson Anthony Manzardo in 1993 and son-in-law Donald Crim in 2011. Please share you condolences at www.HansenFuneralHome.net
