Linda Lee Doherty of Davison, age 83, died Sunday March 2, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Linda was born in Flint, Michigan on March 4, 1941 the daughter of the late Lorin and Ardath (Hicock) Sellars and has resided in the Davison area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Joseph Doherty on January 7, 1961. Linda and her husband enjoyed life together from golfing to fishing they did it all. Linda was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of over sixty-four years Joseph, her children; Theresa Meeker, Joseph (Jodi) Doherty, Laura Sullivan, Daniel (Laura) Doherty, and Kevin (Sara) Doherty.  Linda also leaves her loving grandchildren: Philip Ignash, Joseph Doherty, Bridget Sullivan, Jessica Doherty, Kevin Doherty, her ten great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
