Leo J. Petrides of Davison age 94 died Thursday June 19, 2014 at Stonegate of Lapeer. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Monday June 23, 2014 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Chaplin Joe Masson officiating, burial at Crestwood Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by Davison VFW Post #4087. Family will receive from 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday June 22, 2014 at the funeral home. Leo was born in Flint, Michigan November 4, 1919 the son of the late Phillip and Stella (Spaulding) Petrides and resided in the Flint and Davison area most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Corky Daniels on August 30, 2008. Answering the call of his country Leo served in the US Army in WW II, he was life time member of Davison VFW Post #4087. He was employed by General Motors. He is survived by wife: Corky; grandchildren: Matthew (Jean) Murphy, Molly Murphy, Mickey (Line) Murphy; great grandchildren: Jean Marie, Desmond, Jada, Sydney, Michelle, Emelia, Audrey, and Megan; stepson: Guy (CeCe) Daniels; step grandchildren: Lily, Micheal, and Anthony; sister: Katherine; brothers: John and Bill; special friend and niece Jett Abdella and little Leo the dog.
