Lela Jane Tithof of Davison, formerly of Clio age 84 died Monday October 20, 2014 at Briarwood Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Monday October 27, 2014 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating, cremation will follow at Sunset Hills Crematory. Private inurnment will be held at a late date on the Family Plot in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clio. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 pm Monday at the funeral home, those desiring may make contributions in Lela's memory to the charity of your choice. Lela was born in Clio Michigan on February 16, 1930 the daughter of John & Ruby (Howe) Kelley, and had resided in the Davison area the last thirty years. She was joined in marriage to Lavern Tithof on February 3, 1973 and he preceded her in death in 1990. She was a member of VFW Clio Auxiliary. Surviving is stepchildren: Elaine Lawson & husband Joe Riopelle, Mildred & husband Fred DeLay, Ken & wife Lorri Tithof, Donald & wife Mary Tithof, Robert & wife Marianne Tithof, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister Arlene Freese and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
