LaVern Bertha Frerich of Davison age 81 died Sunday January 9, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Wednesday January 12, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating .Burial in St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2:00- 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. A parish scripture will be held Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John Catholic Church. LaVern will lie in state at the church from 11:00 am Wednesday until time of services. LaVern was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota September 6, 1929 the daughter of the late; Bernard & Mary (Lippsmeyer) Neeser and has resided in the Davison area since 1953, She was joined in marriage to Ruben Frerich on August 22, 1953 and he preceded her in death November 14, 1995. LaVern was a graduate of St. Cloud College of Nursing, and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison. Surviving are sons: Joe Frerich, John and wife Lori Frerich, James Frerich, and Dennis and wife Andrea Frerich. Grandchildren: Tom, Samantha, and Amanda. Great grandchildren: Kristina, Katelyn, Dalton, Logan, Jaimin, Mitchell, and Tatiana. Brothers: Herb Neeser, Romie "Roy" and wife Flo Neeser, and Frank Neeser. Sister, Jerine Gilkey and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by brother, Gerald Neeser
