Lana Marie Caryl, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Davison, age 62, died Thursday February 7, 2013 at Genesys Convalescent Center. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday February 16, 2013 at the Davison United Methodist Church 207 E. Third St. Davison,.Rev. Daniel Wallace officiating. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 am Saturday at the church until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Lana's memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Lana was born on January 13, 1951 the daughter of Charles and Beverly Horton. She was joined in marriage to Randall Caryl on August 21, 1971. Lana is a graduate of Clio High School and Central Michigan University. Lana was a gentle loving spirit, who loved children, animals, and music. Her passion for ceramics made her a respected and accomplished Ceramist. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Randall, daughter Kelly and husband Colin Rorabaugh. Beloved Granddaughters, Lauren and Ella Rorabaugh, Mother: Beverly Horton and siblings Robert Horton, and Pamela Boettcher. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Horton, and brother William Horton.
