Kenneth John Christensen of Davison, age 76 died Saturday August 18, 2018 at his residence. Honoring his request cremation has taken place. No public services are being held.Kenneth was born in Detroit Michigan on August 7, 1942, the son of the late John & Edith (Boysen) Christensen and has resided in the Davison area the last twelve years. He was joined in marriage to Carol Portwood on September 28, 1967. Answering the call of his country Kenneth proudly served in the US Navy. He had been employed by the Detroit Public School System until his retirement in 1997.He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of over fifty years Carol, his children; Kenneth W and wife Ruth Christensen, John D. and wife Melissa Christensen, and Lisa M. and husband Christian Johnson. He also leaves his loving sixteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sister Sharon and husband Mogens Neilson, and a host of extended family.
