Kathryn Lisa Pickett age 60, a long-time resident of Davison passed away unexpectedly on June 30th, 2023 at her home. She was born October 31st, 1962, the daughter of the late Larry Nelson and Debby Moore. She was a graduate of Kearsley High. Kathy was a master in the kitchen, she often showed her love through baking for her family, and she loved having her hands in the dirt and showed a great pride for her flowers and gardening. She always had a way to make those around her laugh whether it be a joke or prank, a silly song she made up on a whim, or her terrible magic tricks. Our mother's laugh was contagious.

Kathy will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves behind her 3 daughters Jessica Pickett, Jenna Pickett, and Jackie Minto. Her greatest loves were her 7 amazing grandchildren who referred to her as "Hamma". As well as her sister Shellie McMurray, brother Eric Nelson, Step Father Thomas Moore, and a host of extended family and lifelong friends.
