KATHRYN Renee Cockerill of Lapeer and Davison age 52 died Tuesday August 20, 2013 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday August 25, 2013 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Chaplain Gene Smith officiating. Family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm Sunday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Kathryn's memory to the Alzheimer Foundation, Genesee County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society. Kathryn was born in Flint Michigan May 10, 1961 the daughter of Kenneth & Barbara (Munsell) Kellogg and has resided in the Davison – Lapeer area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Keith Cockerill on August 16, 1980 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Davison, and had been employed by the Davison Community Schools until retiring in 2011. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Keith, children Jonathan (Anne Winn) Cockerill, Jessica Cockerill, Buzz (Shannon) Morey. Grandchildren: Skylar, Gabriel, Lillian, Dominic, and Brent.
