Kathleen Herman age 66 of Flint passed away Tuesday September 24, 2013 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Friday September 27, 2013 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Chaplin Gene Smith officiating with burial at Meadowview Cemetery. Family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home. Kathleen was born in Flint, Michigan on June 8, 1947 the daughter of the late Jack and Mary Joyce (Gonyea) Christener and she resided in Flint all of her life. She was joined in marriage to John Herman May 1, 1965 in Flint, Michigan. Kathleen leaves behind her husband John; 3 daughters: Alicia & husband Bill Yehle, Julie & husband Jeff Swain, and Amy & husband Lonnie Shattuck. 5 grandchildren: Zachary Swain, Jacob Yehle, Natalie Yehle, Makayla Shattuck, and Madison Swain.
