Karen Susanne Cook of Davison age 65 died Monday April 7, 2014 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon Friday April 11, 2014 at Davison Missionary Church 1481 N. Gale Rd. Davison, MI with Rev. Allen Sudmann officiating. Family will receive visitors from 5:30-8:00pm Thursday at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison. Family and friends will gather from 11:00am Friday until time of service at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in Karen's memory to Heart to Heart Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Karen was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on October 28, 1948 the daughter of the late Norris E. and L. Maxine (Anderson) Bacon. She was joined in marriage to Jerry Cook on August 1, 1970 in Hastings, Michigan. Karen was an elementary school teacher at Southwest Elementary in LakeVille School District for 34 years teaching mostly 5 ^th grade Students. Surviving is husband: Jerry; daughter: Susanne (Josh) Doty; son: William (Brittany Parling) Cook; granddaughters: Addison Doty and Brooke Doty; brother: William Bacon.
