Joyce Lynn Murnighan~we celebrate her life

Joyce Lynn Murnighan of Davison, Michigan age 74, died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Hurley Medical Center. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held.

Joyce was born in Howell, Michigan February 7, 1947. She is the daughter of Harold Murnighan and Shirley Smith. She resided in Davison most of her life. Joyce enjoyed traveling and lived in several areas of the country throughout her spontaneous life. She enjoyed people and would always help those in need. She served as a Cub Scout Leader for many years. She was truly proud of returning to school in her late years and became a graduate of Davison High School in 1980.

Joyce was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Always stylish and gracious, Joyce enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and her beloved dog Roxy.  She always put others needs before hers, "such a light to many people's lives" and an extremely loving individual. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son Stephen Harold Myers and wife Amy Myers of Lapeer, Michigan, Daughter Kimberly Lynn Bailey of San Diego, California. She also leaves her six loving grandchildren: Natalia Lynn Bailey, Trey Lawrence Bailey, Lael Love Bailey, Erica Marie Hall, Emily Mae Myers, and Stephen Kenneth Myers. Her beautiful four great-grandchildren: Jaxsen Vincent Dabney, Audrey Lee Hall, Anna Gracelyn Hall and Stella Rose Hall. Also leaving behind her siblings: Bonnie Wilson, Doug Murnighnan, Mark Murnighan, Debra Tancil, Larry Smith along with her mother Shirley Smith and stepmother Violet Murnighan and very close friend Harolyn Girardin, and her dog Roxy.
