Joyce Elaine (Fridline) Grohoski of Richfield Township, age 77, died Tuesday December 9, 2014 at Place to Remember Assisted Living. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday December 16, 2014 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating; burial will follow at Dawn Memorial Gardens. Family will receive visitors from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Monday and 12:00 noon Tuesday until time of services. Joyce was born in Flint, Michigan on January 21, 1937 the daughter of the late: Harold & Evelyn (Dockter) Fridline and has resided in the Davison area her entire life. She was joined in marriage to Paul Grohoski on October 6, 1956 at Davison United Methodist Church, and was a Graduate of Davison Community Schools. Joyce had been employed by General Motors Buick Motor Division and EDS until her retirement May 16, 1996. She leaves her loving husband of over 58 years Paul, daughter Karen (Jeff) Young, grandchildren: Justin Young, Jennifer Young, and Jessica Young. Her great-grandson Jace, Sisters, Janet (Phil) Dennington, Kathy (Rick) Monroe, and brothers Kenneth Fridline, Harold "Buster" Fridline and a host of other relatives.
