Joyce Marie Boehmer of Mt. Morris age 66 died Saturday April 30, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. A funeral service will held at 3:00 pm Friday May 6, 2016 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating, cremation will follow the service. Family will receive from 11:00 am until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions in Joyce's memory to Gift of Life Foundation, Hospice, or American Red Cross. Joyce was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 27, 1949 the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Johnson) Hoerauf and resided in Flint and Lapeer area most of her life. Joyce graduated of Olivet College, and was an ordained Minister for First Metaphysical Church. Joyce was member of Sweet Adeline's, and also was a Reiki and Spiritual Master. Joyce is survived by daughter: Amber and husband Nathen Stoneburgh; son: Jeremy and wife Christy Boehmer; stepchildren: Brian and wife Michele Boehmer, and Chris and husband David Swan; 7 grandchildren; siblings: Carl Hoerauf, Evalyn Gotham, Ruth Wilson, Grace Boxwell, and Roy Hoerauf; significant other: Ed Szappon, and a host of extended family.
