Joseph Henry Roerink of Davison age 82 died Monday December 18, 2017 at his residences. A memorial service will be held Saturday December 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Bible Baptist Church 5388 Lippincott Lapeer, MI 48446 with Pastor Jacob Gieseler officiating. Honoring Joseph's wishes cremation has taken place. Joseph was born in Pontiac, Michigan on June 2, 1935 the son of the late Gerit and Dorothy (Kimball) Roerink and resided in the Pontiac, Lake Orion, Yuma, AZ, and Davison area. Joseph was joined in marriage to Iris Duse on October 26, 1956 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church on Pontiac, Michigan. Joseph was butcher at Utica Packing Company for many years. Joseph is survived by his wife of 61 years Iris; children: Joseph and wife Laurie Roerink, Robin Locklear, and James Roerink; grandchildren: Mitchell and wife Kary, Stefanie and husband Jack, Stacie and husband Jay, Jessica and husband Sam, Trudy and husband Dirk, Trisha, Brittney and husband Mathew, and Megan; 16 great grandchildren; brother Gerald and wife Janice Roerink.
