Joseph Anthony Potoczny of Davison age 91 died Wednesday May 12, 2010 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 18, 2010 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Deacon Mike Dear officiating. Burial in Meadowview Cemetery. Family will recieve visitors from 4:00 until 8;00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Joseph was born in San Antonio, Texas August 1, 1918 the son of Henry and Mary Potoczny and has resided in Davison the last eight years, spending most of his life in the Flint area. Answering the call of his country Jospeh served in the US Army during World War II. He had been employed by General Motors until his retirement in the 1970's. He is survived by his children, and nieces; Dorothy, Marie, Junie, Barbara, and Gloria. He is preceded in death wife Jean.
