Obituary

Joseph Arthur Madore of Davison, age 86, died Wednesday April 22, 2015 at his residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Saturday April 25, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home with a parish scripture service at 7:30 pm. Mr. Madore will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon Saturday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Joe's memory to Reverence Hospice or the Alzheimer Foundation. Joe was born in Flint Michigan on November 28, 1928 the son of the late Frank and Ida (Sharboneau) Madore and has resided in the Davison are most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Mary "Peg" Runyon on June 10, 1950 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison, and had served as an Ecumenical Ministry for numerous years. Joe was also a life member of Davison Knights of Columbus Council #4090. Joe spent his career as a truck driver for Brada-Miller Trucking and JP Barkman Construction. He leaves to cherish his memory wife Mary "Peg" children; Linda & Bob Pirog of Bloomfield Hills, Mary Jo & Joe Ghattas of Flint, Karen Madore of Marietta Georgia, Michael & Karen Madore of Lilburn Georgia, Mark & Pat Madore of Davison, Danny & Jeni Madore of Kenosha Wisconsin, Kenny Madore of Davison, Joe & Debi Madore of Davison. He also leaves his loving twelve grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Brother Eugene & Erma Madore of Washington, sisters Joan & Gordon Lang of Davison, Margaret Fromwiller of Brown City, Yvonne & Jim Gerow of Ohio, Norma & Harvey Hubbard of Arkansas, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by brother Paul & Rose Madore, and sister Venetta Babich.
