Joseph James Madden II of Davison, age 63, died Tuesday October 3, 2017 at home. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday October 7, 2017 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Father Robert C. Bacik officiating. Cremation will follow at Sunset Hills Crematory. Family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon Saturday until time of services at the funeral home. Joseph was born in Flint Michigan on July 30, 1954 the son of the late Joseph & Elizabeth (Kaizer) Madden and has resided in the Davison – Burton area his entire life. He was a graduate of Bentley High School Class of 1972, Joseph was an avid golfer, loved playing the guitar and enjoyed his trips to the Florida Keys; He had been employed as a sheet metal worker and a proud member of the Sheet Metal Worker Local #7. Surviving is sons: Christopher Madden, Brett Madden, daughter Heather Brandt, and six grandchildren. He also leaves brothers :Patrick and wife Kimberly Madden, Todd Madden, and sisters; Barb Marzi, Maureen and husband Ron Gilbert, Sister in law Kay Madden, and a host of other relatives.
