John Russell Taylor of Richfield Township, age 56, died Wednesday September 3, 2014 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at a later date. John was born in Flint Michigan on June 17, 1958 the son of Richard & Jerry Taylor, and has resided in the Davison area most of his life. He was a graduate of Davison High School, and had been employed by Taylor Steel. He later was self-employed in the Construction-Building trades. John enjoyed spending time with family and friends in "the house that John built". He never took life seriously; He wasn't here for a long time… but was here for a good time. He leaves to cherish his memory son: Kyle, daughters: Rachel & husband Mark McKinnon, and Shannon Taylor. Also his grandson Tyler McKinnon, mother Jerry Taylor, brothers; Richard, Thomas, Steve, and sister Linda Taylor-Altenburg. Many nieces, nephews, close friends, and neighbors.
