John Joseph Roberts Jr. of Clio, age 70, died Thursday August 14, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital, Flint. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in John's memory to Hurley's Children Foundation.

John was born in Flint Michigan on February 13, 1955 the son of the late John and Mary (Smith) Roberts and has resided in Clio the last twenty-five years, spending his early years in the Flint area. He was joined in marriage to Linda Bemis on August 25, 1984. John enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter. John had been employed as a welder until his retirement.

He leaves his wife Linda, daughter Heaven Roberts, son John Roberts III and wife Gracie, and grandchildren: Alister, John IV, and Emily. John is also survived by sisters: Suzanne Locke, Janice Roberts, and a host of extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by parents John J. Roberts Sr., Mary Smith, and sister Patricia Locke.
