KISH, John of Grand Blanc age 84 died Wednesday July 1, 2009 at Nathan's Place Assisted Living. Honoring John's wishes cremation has taken place with private burial at Evergreen Cemetery. John was born in Flint Michigan September 20, 1924 the son of the late Michael & Mary Rose (Kalocy) Kiss and had resided in the Flint-Grand Blanc area most of his life. Answering the call of his country John served in the US Navy during WW II serving on the USS New Jersey. He was an avid fisherman, golfer and wood worker. John was employed by General Motors Buick Motors Plant Security retiring in 1980. He leaves to cherish his memory Daughters; Jan (Warren) Champion of Grand Blanc, Barbara Kish of Sterling Heights. Son; Rex Kish of Grand Rapids, Grandson; Patrick Shook of North Carolina, Sister; Irma Crickmore of Grand Blanc nephew; Scott (Mary) Crickmore and niece; Kim & Tim Houle.
