DRURY, John Willis of Davison age 78 died MondayJuly 27, 2009 at Select Hospital. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Thursday July 30, 2009 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew J. Czajkowski officiating. Private inurnment at St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 5- 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home; a parish rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. John was born in Detroit Michigan December 21, 1930 the son of the late John & Beulah (Crooks) Drury and has lived in the Davison area since 1995 spending many years in Ortonville. He was joined in marriage to Sharon Zenas May 2, 1952 at St. Rita Catholic Church, Detroit. John was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and was employed by the State of Michigan for twenty-four years retiring in 1988. Surviving are wife; Sharon, son; John & wife Jill Drury of White Cloud, daughter; Cheryl & husband John Davis. Five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
