Jodi Lynn Davenport of Burton, age 44, died Monday November 26, 2018 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday December 8, 2018 at Higher Praise Church 4060 Grand Blanc Rd. Pastor Don Dennis officiating. Those desiring may make contributions in Jodi's memory to her family or Relay for Life.

Jodi was born in Flint Michigan on September 1, 1974 the daughter of Kenneth & Gail (Brant) Birmingham, and has resided in the area her entire life. She was joined in marriage to Jeffrey Davenport on April 10, 1999. Jodi was a graduate of Kearsley Community School, and had attended Higher Praise Church. She was proud to be a Cancer Survivor and was very active in the Relay for Life. She also was an accomplished Author and truly had the ability to put thoughts in words for the enjoyment of others.

She leaves to cherish her memory husband Jeff, daughter Cassie (Dakota Payne) Davenport, and her grandchildren Silas Payne and Taylor Payne. She also leaves her mother & step-father; Gail and Rick LaRocque, brother Kenneth E. and Ellie Birmingham Jr., father-in-law and mother-in-law Walt and Eileen Davenport and a host of extended family.
