Joanne P. Laney of Davison, age 81, died Wednesday March 21, 2018 at Mission Point of Holly Nursing Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Monday March 26, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at St. John Mausoleum. Joanne will lie in state at the church form 11:00 am Monday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in her memory to the charity of your choice.  Joanne was born in Missouri on October 26, 1936 the daughter of the late Frank & Imogene (Clark) Laney and has resided in the Davison area since 2000. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison, and had been employed by Mercy Hospital in Cadillac until her retirement. Surviving are sisters Linda (Norman) Searle, Mary Christine (Ralph) Mathias, sister-in-law Maxine Laney, and a host of extended family and friends.
