Joan M. Trouten of Burton age 75 died Monday November 30, 2020. Family will receive visitors from 2:00pm - 4:00pm Thursday December 3, 2020 at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison. Due to CDC Guidelines social distancing and limited amount of visitors at one time are being followed. Joan was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 24, 1945 . T he daughter of the late Grayland and Marion (Je n kins) Larsen. Joan was joined in marriage to Ross Scott Trouten on August 1, 1970 in Flint, Michigan and he preceded her in death July 19, 2013. Joan was a me mber of The First Presbyterian Church of Flint, Sons of Nor way, Flint Institute of Art, and had Pen Pal 's all through out the world including family in England and Norway, she was an avid collect or of the American Indian and Spanish Heritage. Joan was a teacher /sub for many decad es through o ut Genesee County and had a Masters degree from U of M Flint . Joan is survi ved by her children: Ross David Trouten, Stephan Grayland (Jacob Lloyd) Trouten, and Thomas Robert Trouten; grandchildren: Liam Ross Trouten, and Graysen Randall Trouten; brother: William (Shirley) Larsen.
