Joan "Jodi" Schofield of Gladwin age 79 died Sunday August 19, 2012 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Thursday August 23 2012 at the Hansen funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Entombment at Crestwood Masoleum, Grand Blanc. Family will recieve visitors from 1-8 pm Tuesday at the Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin Michigan (989)426-7751. Visitation for Jodi will also be held from 3-8 pm Wednesday at the Hansen Funeral Home, Davison. Those desiring may make contributions in Jodi's memory to the Gladwin Humane Society. Joan was born in Flint Michigan May 9, 1933 the daughter of Oliver & Genevieve (Choate) Holt and had resided in Flint and Gladwin her entire life. She was joined in marriage to James L. Schofield on July 21, 1979. Jodi was a avid Bingo player and was a collector of lighthouses. She leaves husband James, children; Debbie Tomasik, Kathy "Kat" Fridline, and John (Julie) Anderson. Step-children: Thomas (Debra) Schofield, Lesa (Les) Keely, and Amy (Rick) Auwaeter. Nineteen grandchildren, Seven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
