Joan Gay Jacobi of Davison, age 90, died Wednesday November 25, 2020 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday December 4, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church 706 W. Flint St. Davison. Rev. Todd I. Frusti officiating, burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon Friday until time of services at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in Joan's memory to the charity of your choice.

Joan was born in Flint Michigan on April 26, 1930 the daughter of the late Talvis & Eva (Uptegraff) Davis and has resided in the Davison area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Harry T. Jacobi on March 21, 1953. Joan was a charter member of Davison Eagles 3589, and had been active at Davison, Burton and Eastside Senior Centers. Joan had been employed by General Motors AC & Buick Divisions and in later years worked as a bookkeeper for Dr. D. Walter MD.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of sixty-seven years Harry, daughters: Eva and husband Rex Sparks, Julie and husband Kurt Kosbar, and Gay Polley. She also leaves her six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, son-in-law Berry Polley, and  a host of extended family. She is preceded in death by brother Talvis.
