Jimmie Franklin Robertson of Grand Blanc & Davison, age 64, died suddenly Sunday May 10, 2015 in Michigan City Indiana. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday May 14, 2015 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison, and Pastor Sarah Larose-Nettell officiating. Family will receive visitors from 2-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Jim's memory to the Lapeer Masonic Lodge. Jimmie was born in Flint Michigan on June 12, 1950 the son of the late Jerry Frank & June Roslyn (Ositen) Robertson, and has resided in the Davison-Grand Blanc area most of his life. He was a member of the Lapeer Masonic Lodge, and was known by family and friends to be a very caring and loving person through his life. He had been employed by General Motors Grand Blanc Power Division for over thirty years retiring in 2010. Surviving are children; Tiffeny (Jeff) Lehner, Rochelle (Michael) Rangel, Rachand (Dave) Braham, and grandchildren Whitney Robertson, and Abby Rangel. He also leaves brothers; Dennis (Vicky) Robertson, Ed (Judy) Robertson, Rod (Sue) Robertson, and a host of other relatives. Jim had numerous medical problems but was granted a second chance in life and at the time he met a nurse who became his soul-mate and life changing inspiration, Margery O'Neil.
