Jeffrey Lee O'Dell of Davison, age 69, died Thursday November 25, 2021 in San Antonia Texas. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Private family service and burial will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Jeff's memory to the charity of your choice.

Jeff was born in Flint Michigan on September 3, 1952 the son of Richard & Bernadette (Johnson) O'Dell and had resided in the Davison area most of his life. He was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1970 and graduated with honors from the University of Michigan. Answering the call of his country Jeffery proudly served in the US Army. He was a champion chess player and even toured in the Army playing chess with generals and other Army officers. Jeff was an avid reader and had a great thirst for learning, reading everything from encyclopedias to science fiction to poetry.

He leaves to cherish his memory mother Bernadette O'Dell, siblings; Richard & Martha O'Dell, Randall & Jill O'Dell, Karen & Leon Carter, Ginny & Jack Kelts, Nancy & Ray Lindsay, Peggy & Rodolfo Diaz-Pons, Kelly & Julie O'Dell, brother-in-law John Beuthin and a host of extended family and friends.
