Jean L. Fargo of Davison age 78 died Wednesday September 14, 2011 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday September 17, 2011 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating, with burial in Meadowview Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Jean's memory to Heartland Hospice. Jean was born in Kingston Ontario, Canada on October 20, 1932 the daughter of the late Howard and Lillian (Holiday) Niles and has resided in the Davison area for many years. She was joined in marriage to Raymond Joseph Fargo, November 15, 1951 in Ontario Canada and he preceded her in death April. 5, 2006. Jean was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison, and had been employed by the Davison Community Schools until her retirement in 1995. Surviving are children; Larry & wife Kathy Fargo, Nancy and husband Bill Backus, Cathy and husband Bob Woodhull, Lorraine and husband Denny Doty, Faye Doty, Lisa and husband Albert Stickler, and Mark and wife Diane Fargo; Eighteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, Brother Sherman and wife Pearl Niles, and sister in law Val Niles; significant other, Del Miller, and a host of other relatives.
