Jean Ellen Ditch of Davison (formally of Clarkston), age 80, died Thursday August 21, at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Friday August 29, 2025 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Brent Jerome officiating: burial to follow in Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-8 pm Thursday and from 11:00 am until time of services on Friday.

Jean was born in Pontiac, Michigan on February 16, 1945, and has resided in the Davison- Flint area for the last several years, spending most of her life in the Clarkston community. She loved to go shopping and to travel.  Her greatest love and passion was her family, especially her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. She treasured all the family outing and time spent. Jean spent over thirty years as a cook in the Dietary Dept. at Clarkston Community Schools until her retirement,

Jean leaves to cherish her memory daughters: Mary Love, Jeanine Lloyd, and Kim Bergeron. She also leaves her grandchildren: Shelbee Kline (Brett), Kyle Bey (Katie), Michael Lloyd (Sarah), Janonne Reynolds (Matt), Stefany Wooster (Bobby), Alayna Klinke (Jake), and her loving thirteen great grandchildren. Surviving also are siblings: Jim Shrum (Michaeline), Charlie Allen (Julie), Janet Simonds (Don), Carole Couden, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
