Jean B. Calloway of Davison age 98 died Saturday April 16, 2011 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday April 21, 2011 at the Davison United Methodist Church 207 E. Third St. Davison, Rev. Debbie Line officating. Private burial will be held at Acacia Park Cemetery. Family will recieve visiors from 1-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Jean will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am Thursday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Jean's memory to the Davison United Methodist Church. Jean was born in Paisley, Scotland May 29, 1912 the daughter of the late; Walter and Jean (Andrew) Burgess, and has resided in the Davison area since 1987, and spending most of her life in the Detriot area. She was joined in marriage to Charles H. Calloway on Apr. 2, 1937 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1944. Jean was a member of the Daviosn United Methodist Church, the HANDS Group and a active member of the Davison Senior Center. She had been employed by the Cadillac Motor Car in the 1930's and the employed by Detriot Public School for twenty-five years reitring in 1975. She leaves to cherish her memory children; Charles B. and wife Carol Calloway,and Jean Hampton Malcomnson and husband John. Grandchildren; Robert Charles Malcomnson, Jeanie M.(Dana) Pefferly, and Carol Lynn (Paul) Bonell. Serveal great grandchildren and grandaughter-in-law, Michelle Calloway .
