Janetha Gayann Graves of Montrose formerly of Mayville, age 81, died Saturday July 18, 2020 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Private Celebration of Life will be held on July 22, 2020. Burial will be on the family plot on August 1, 2020 at Tuscola Township Cemetery.

Janetha was born in Flint Michigan on the late June 27, 1939 the daughter of Curtis & Genevieve (Miller) Wheatley and spent most of her life in the Mayville area, and the last twelve years in Montrose. She was joined in marriage to Leo Graves in October 1996 and he preceded her in death August 2004.

Surviving are children: Michell (Russ), Michael (Denise) Minerd, John (Mattie) Minerd, Jeff Minerd, and Coreena Minerd. She also leaves her six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and sister Deborah (Donald) Riley. Also surviving is step-children Bill, Valerie, Missy, their families, and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by daughter Dawn Valentina Minerd, step-daughter Sonja Smith, step-son Rick Graves, and her siblings: Sandra Berlin, Patricia Graves and Dallan Wheatley.
