James Hans Thomsen of Davison, age 85, died Tuesday November 30, 2021 at his residence. Private graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday December 4, 2021 at Bethlehem Cemetery 2801 Jackson Ave. Ann Arbor Michigan 48103. Those desiring may make contributions in James's memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation.

James was born in Sacramento, California on September 25, 1936 the son of the late Hans &Thelma (Van Pelt) Thomsen and spent many years in the Davison, and most of his life in the Ypsilanti area. James was an avid football fan and especially the Michigan Teams, he also love to watch numerous television games shows. He had been employed by General Motors Pontiac Division until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memory children; Stacy Quarrels, Thelma Thomsen, and Kimberly Bergman. He also leaves his grandchildren: Tia-Lynne (Jason) Cook, Sabrina Bergman, EJ Byrd, great granddaughters; Phoebe Kate Cook, Chloe Loren Cook, brother Richard Thomsen, and a host of extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his wife Kathy Jean Thomsen.
