James Jay Routly of Genesee Township, age 56, died Monday February 16, 2015 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place, Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in James's memory to the family for his daughter's education. James was born in Flint Michigan on December 12, 1958 the son of the late Robert & Magdalene (Mauti) Routly and has resided in Genesee Township most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Sharon March on December 23, 1989 in Flint. Answering the call of his country James served in the US Marine Corp. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of twenty-five years Sharon, and his daughter Raven. He also leaves siblings: John & Leighann Routly, Bobby Routly, Paul & Kathy Routly, Renee' Routly, and Roberta & Rich Evoy. James also leaves twenty-five nieces, nephews and fourteen great nieces and nephews, and extended family. He is preceded in death by brothers Dan & Michael Routly and sister Rita Routly.
