James "Jim" Power of Flint age 69 died Monday August 13, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Thursday August 16, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church Mt. Morris  Father William F. Wegher  officiating with Rite of Committal at Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 9:45 a.m. until time of service at the church. A Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. Those desiring may make contributions in Jim's memory to St. Jude's Children Hospital.  James was born in Mt. Morris, Michigan on July 6, 1949 the son of the late James and Avertte (Michael) Power. He was joined in marriage to Sandra Martel on August 21, 1998. Answering the call of his country Jim served the US Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War.  Jim was member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Mt. Morris. He was employed by General Motors AC Spark Division. He leaves to cherish his memory wife: Sandra; children: Mike and wife Tina Power, Krissy and husband Aaron Sweatt, Tiffany and husband Matt Stimac, and Neil Martel; grandchildren: Avery, Andrew, Simon, Lucas, Kaden, Justin, and Mckalynn; and three sisters.
