James Robert Palso of Richfield Township, age 73, died Tuesday September 20, 2016 at Regency of Whitmore Lake. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Burial and Military Honors will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday September 27, 2016 at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd. Holly Michigan. Rev. Daryl Taylor officiating. Those desiring may make contributions in James's memory to the Community Baptist Church, Davison. James was born in Flint Michigan on June 26, 1943 the son of the late: Stephen & Sarah (Konya) Palso and has resided in the area for many years. He was joined in marriage to Sandra Saumier on June 15, 1968. Answering the call of his country James served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He had been employed by General Motors Flint Metal Fab. Division retiring October 1, 2006. Surviving is wife Sandra, children: Kelly J.
