James Thomas Hodges of Flint age 76 died Thursday March 25, 2010 at Brian's House Hospice. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday March 30, 2010 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park with military honors under the auspices of Davison American Legion Post 267. The family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. James was born in Ackerman Mississippi on October 20, 1933 the son of late: James & Myrtle (Franklin) Hodges. James enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He leaves to cherish his memory; daughter Mitzi Peacock of Oxford, son Larry and wife Kim Hodges of Flint, several grandchildren and step-children, sister Marie Burton of Mississippi and a host of other relatives. He is preceded in death by his wife Dean.
