James Robert Elliott of Davison Township, age 50, died Sunday December 29, 2013 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Private burial will be held at Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions in James's memory to his son Jared for his college education. James was born in Flint Michigan on January 28, 1963 the son of the late Robert & Delores Elliott, and had resided in the Flint-Davison area his entire life. He was a graduate of Davison High School class of 1981 and Baker College. James had been employed by General Motors Delphi Division. Surviving is son Jared Elliott, mother of his son Sherry Dipzinski-Elliott, step-sister: Juliann (Michael) Pumphrey, step-brothers; Craig (Lynn) Chittle, Terry (Cheryl) Chittle,and Thomas (Nancy) Chittle. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Elliott in Jan. 2009, step-mother Rose Elliot in Oct. 2009 and his Aunt & Uncle Barbara & Kenneth Smith.
