James Albert Albers of Burton, age 71, died Monday October 19, 2020 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held at this time. Those desiring may make contributions in James's memory to Hurley Children's Foundation.

James was born in Highland Park, Michigan on November 27, 1948 the son of the late Albert & Shirley (Cassube) Albers. James has been a resident of Burton the last year relocating from the Mayville area. He was joined in marriage to Coraine Sue Schafer on May 27 1995. He truly loved the outdoors and was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. He had been employed by Ford Motor Company until his retirement.

Surviving is wife Coraine, daughter Ann and husband Matt Ash, granddaughter Ashley and husband Tom Prado, and his loving great grandchildren: Carter, Aaron, and Andrea.
